KNYSNA
PINK LOERIE FESTIVAL
This
festival has been forced upon the majorty of people in Kysna and is
nothing more than a celebration of debauchery and sexual perversion. It
totally disregards the norms of public behaviour and deliberately
flaunts itself publicly in front of children without a care. Action is
needed to force the council to reconsider. More here

2ND
HAND CLOTHES
This
excellent project is based on a model developed by CDA members in the
Eastern Cape, who have found a sustainable alternative to simply

STOP
THE KNYSNA PINK LOERIE FESTIVAL
To Top
The Pink
Loerie Homosexual Festival is nothing more than a
celebration of sexual debauchery, obscenity and drunkenness. Public
indecency
including excessive public consumption of alcohol, standing atop moving
vehicles and children being exposed to hard-core sexually explicit
images are
all ignored by authorities.
In fact,
children as young as five have been roped into the
festival which included near naked homosexual participants, obscene and
indecent slogans and simulated homosexual sex acts in full view of
families
with children. Elements of this parade are in direct conflict with the
Sexual
Offences Amendment Act.
Most of the
festival participants are from outside of Knysna
which in effect, is a violation of the rights of Knysna residents to
determine
the nature and quality of events hosted in their town. Help us stand
behind the
rights of decent family valued citizens!
In May 2008
Pastor Jerome Nel of the Garden Route Christian
Centre led the battle against this perverse event and the townsfolk
came out in
overwhelming opposition to hosting it. However, the valid concerns of
Christian
residents and other townsfolk were flatly ignored by the Knysna
Municipality
and the festival went ahead. You can contact him to offer support on info@godis.co.za
A public
perception survey was begun by the municipality but
quickly withdrawn without warning as a result of intense pressure from
homosexual activists thereby preventing the majority of Knysna
residents an
opportunity to express their democratic view.

SECOND HAND CLOTHING SHOPS
To
Top
CDA
members in the Eastern Cape have developed a business model for
establishing 2nd hand clothing shops in our poorer communities, which
not only provide an income for those running it, but also provide
stable funding for local soup kitchens etc.
We
are all used to donating clothing to the poor and traditionally, these
clothes lay horded by various mnistries unable to distribute them
effectively. With our model, reliable Christian people are selected in
the poor communities, provided with basic business training and the
clothes collected are sold to them at minimal prices.
These
stores are simple and provide a very neccessary service in the less
affluent areas. Profits go the the new business owners, but are also
used to fund local feeding schemes etc. as well as provide clothing to
particularly children who have a desperate need. Additionally, the
donors of clothing actually receive something back, which they can plow
back into other ministries.
